About the AAIEP
The Adirondack Arts in Education Partnership (AAIEP) was founded in January 2004 for the purpose of cultivating quality arts-based programs through education, financial support and advocacy in North Country schools throughout Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Hamilton - and most recently - Warren counties in New York. Grants are availablethrough its Local Capacity Building (LCB) Arts in Education regrant program to support partnerships between schools and regional teaching artists or cultural organizations that incorporate the study of the arts and non-arts subjects.

To date, the AAIEP's LCB grant program has benefited over 3,500 students, 30+ artists and helped to increase spending for Arts Education programming by more than $100,000  throughout 20 school districts (26 schools) region-wide!

The AAIEP is comprised of a roundtable/consortium of interested non-profit organizations, artists and schools from the region that is led by a Coordinator and meets periodically to decide how to best meet the needs of area schools, teaching artists, cultural organizations and interested constituents through professional development and networking opportunities, outreach, technical assistance and advocacy.
